Handling such a volume with approximately 50 staff requires excellent organisational skills.Dismantling almost 2,000 vehicles per month professionally requires clear processes. That starts with draining and ends with the sale of the used parts. In order to keep track of over one million spare parts on an area of more than 100,000 square metres (1, 076, 391 square feet) requires modern data processing equipment.Each part is assigned a barcode by which it can easily be found in high-rise storage. And for added security the chassis number is removed during disassembly and returned, together with the vehicle registration document, to the vendor or insurer. That eliminates any illegal postal trade.
